Leave Me With Some Kind Of Proof It's Not A Dream

I was looking forward to training today, but it was cancelled because of the haze. Our training last Monday was a really successful one because I could tell that everyone played their best. I know that as long as we continue to work well as a team, to never underestimate anyone's capability and stay resilient, we can do well for North Zone next year.

I'm dead serious about getting into the second round of North Zone next year. I regretted not training hard earlier this year. It's kinda too late to become a super netball player at this time of the year because we are only left with about 8 weeks before the competition. But I'm not giving up. I hope that everyone feels the same way too.

I admit, netball isn't my life. I'm not that passionate about it as I am with dance. I don't go to every training with a smile on my face. My coach divided the netball 'B' Division team into Team A and Team B, where the ones in Team A are the players most likely to represent the school for next year's NZ, but sadly I'm not in that team.

During one of our trainings, after she announced who is in Team A and Team B, she personally came up to me and said: "Maria, I put you in Team B because you are always busy with your council work. Train hard, and I'll put you in Team A." After she told me that, I promised myself that I will not let her down. My coach is really awesome and nice, I musn't let her down.

Yes, I may not be crazy about netball, but the three years in this CCA has taught me a lot. Many a times I relate life experiences with the court. It's that small court which taught me the meaning of team work, confidence, resilience and trust.

We can do it if we want to do it. I don't want others to look down on Woodlands Ring Secondary School's netball team anymore. I hate it when people ask why are we so "lousy". We must prove to them that we are not lousy. Jiayou netballers, we will pull it through.
