Sun, Sand and Sea

Hello! I'm still in the Philippines now, currently at my Lola's house in Manila. I just returned from the province of Masbate and Samar yesterday. The journey to Masbate from Manila is long, like 13-hour bus ride followed by a 4-hour ferry ride then another 4-hour bus ride and finally a 30-minute boat ride long. It literally took us a day to get there!

The picture above is taken in Masbate, right outside my beach house. That girl with me is my god-daughter, her name is Shaira Quinncy. Isn't the view amazing?! The sea water there is really clean. See how transparent it is!!! When it gets deeper, it becomes green then slowly becomes blue. It's really very pretty, I must bring my friends there someday!

This is how pretty the water is!

Don't you just feel like swimming now?! That was exactly how I felt when I got there. When it wasn't so sunny anymore, I ran out of my house with Shaira and my brothers and jumped into the water. My brothers and I wanted to take a boat ride to the middle of the sea and jump into the water from there but something happened before I could have fun.....

I unknowingly stepped on a glass bottle and it hit an artery!

Blood just spilled out profusely. It just flowed out and the part of the water around me was covered in a cloud of red. It didn't hurt then. It only started to hurt when I got out of the water. My mum dressed the wound and I spent the whole day inside the house doing nothing and watching everyone else having fun in the water.

That's my bandaged foot with the blood stain ~

Later on that night my mum changed my bandage and when she took the old one off... blood statred dripping on the floor and the old bandage was covered in blood. My mum and Lola rushed me to the hospital. We had to take the 30-minute boat ride as we're on an island and gosh, that ride was certainly terrifying!

I had 4 stiches and I went back to the hospital the next day and had 2 jabs. I was like 1% nervous as I haven't been to a hospital due to any injury before. What more, I was lying down on an operation bed with the light and everything. Thank God it didn't really hurt, except for the part where the doctor (he's Chinese) gave me 4 jabs to numb my leg. When he told me that the glass hit an artery thus the profuse blood flow, I felt soooo relieved because I remembered Ms Siti telling my class about this girl who suffered the same thing.

I still have my bandage on now and I still can't walk properly. I hope it'll recover soon. I wanna shop till I drop and I still have my trainings to attend when I get back. How am I supposed to run when I can hardly walk?!

11 more days till I'm back. I really miss my friends and Show Luo :(

Can't wait to rebond my hair, go on a crazy shopping spree and visit Mall of Asia! That is, if my foot ever gets better and when my brothers get well soon (two of them are running a temperature)! LOL I know right, it's a holiday yet everyone seems to be unwell.

xoxo
